On-line Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to below mentioned programmes for the Academic Session 2024. The candidates are advised to peruse Admission Guidelines / Prospectus 2024 (available on the University website) & go through the Admission Procedure to check the eligibility criteria/ other details before filling and submitting their Online Application Forms: POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES ELIGIBILITY

M. Tech. Artificial Intelligence (AI)

B. Tech./ BE in any branch of Engineering OR MCA/ M. Sc. Information Technology/ M. Sc. Electronics or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks.

M. A Philosophy

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized University/ Institution.

M.Sc. Statistics

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized University/ Institution with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Applied Mathematics as one of the core subjects in at least 04 semesters/ 02 Years at UG level OR B.Sc. Actuarial and Financial Mathematics.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA) 2-Years

Having passed BCA OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science & Engineering OR B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics as compulsory subject at 10+2 Level/ at Graduation Level with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized University/ Institution.

Master of Science in Information Technology (M.Sc. IT)

Degree with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized University/ Institution in any of the following:

Bachelor’s Degree in Relevant subject OR B.Sc. having Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level OR B.Sc. having Mathematics/ Physics/ Computer Science/ I.T. / or any relevant Computer related recognized subject as one of the subjects in at least 04 semesters/ 02 Years at UG level OR B. Tech./BE.

M. Tech. Food Technology

B. Tech. Food Technology with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University/ Institution.

M.Sc. Chemistry

Bachelor’s Degree in Science with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized University/ Institution with Chemistry as one of the subjects in at least 04 semesters/ 02 Years at UG level OR B.Sc. Hons Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry OR B.E/B. Tech. Chemical Engineering.

M.Sc. Physics

Bachelor’s Degree in Science with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized University/ Institution with Physics and Mathematics as core subjects in at least 04 semesters/ 02 Years at UG level OR B.E/B. Tech (with Physics and Mathematics as subjects for at least two semesters/ one year) OR B.Sc. Hons Physics.

M.A. International Relations (P&CS)

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized University/ Institution.

M.A. Journalism & Mass Communication

M.A. Islamic Studies

M. A Political Science

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized University/ Institution with Political Science as one of the subjects in at least 04 semesters/ 02 Years at UG level.

M.A. Arabic Language & Literature

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized University/ Institution with Arabic as one of the subjects in at least 04 semesters/ 02 Years at UG level OR having Aalimayat/ Fazilah degree with 10+2 of the approved Madrasas.

M.A. English Language & Literature

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized University/ Institution with English Literature as one of the subjects in at least 04 semesters/ 02 Years at UG level OR B.A. Hons English.

M.A. Economics

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized University/ Institution with Economics/ Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects in at least 04 semesters/ 02 Years at UG level OR Four Years Engineering Degree OR Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural/ Horticultural OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration OR Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce OR B.Sc. Actuarial and Financial Mathematics. UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMMES ELIGIBILITY

B.TECH. ENGINEERING

Civil/ Computer Science/ Electrical/ Electronics & Communication/ Mechanical

Having passed 10+2 from the J&K Board of School Education or from any other recognized board with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as compulsory subjects

AND

Having appeared in JEE Main (Paper-I) 2024 (Session-1 January 2024 or Session-2 April 2024)

B. Arch.

Having passed 10+2 from the J&K Board of School Education or from any other recognized board with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as compulsory subjects OR Having passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject. AND

The candidates needs to have qualified National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA)-2024 conducted by Council of Architecture OR Having appeared in JEE (Paper-2A) 2024.
